Hey there, I'm Joclyn Bushman.

I grew up on a farm in northeast Iowa, where some of my favorite memories were spent outside with the livestock and dogs. That environment taught me to notice the little things — the quiet moments, the hard work behind the scenes, and the stories that don’t always get told out loud.

That’s also where my love for photography began. I was always reaching for my grandma’s camera growing up, drawn to documenting real life as it unfolded. Even then, I had a feeling this was what I was meant to do.

Today, my work is rooted in honest storytelling — capturing people, brands, and businesses in a way that feels natural, intentional, and true to who they are. Whether I’m photographing a wedding day, a family, or a brand behind the scenes, my focus is always on real moments over stiff poses and images that feel meaningful now and years down the road.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me outside with my two golden retrievers, iced latte or Coke Zero in hand, soaking up time away from a screen.

I love connecting with people, hearing their stories, and creating images that reflect what matters most to them. If you’re looking for photography that feels genuine, thoughtful, and true to life — I’d love to work together.
